Margaret Place Centennial Cocktail

Visit 121 Artisan's Bistro and helpl us determine the Centennial DrinkIt started as a contest to determine one winning cocktail and one winning after dinner drink.  It ended with the attitude that they were each worth celebrating!

With thanks to 121 Artisan's Bistro and those who took part in the competition and the voting, we proudly announce the Margaret Place Centennial Cocktails and After Dinner Drinks.


The Margaret Place Centennial Cocktails

HERE'S TO YOU, CHARLIE!, created by Marla Hires and MK Hopkins

Mix together:
3 Tbs frozen Mango concentrate
1 Tbs frozen Orange concentrate
3 Tbs Dark Rum

1 Tbs Sassafras infused Dark Rum
1 Tbs unrefined sugar syrup
6 Tbs Lime Seltzer Water

Pour mixture over over crushed ice.
Optional garnish: Top with Strawberry slice in 1 Tbs Sassafras infused Dark Rum / sugar syrup

WINK OF THE WIZARD, created by Theresa and Jim Barnatt

1 part Captain Morgan’s Key Lime Rum
2 parts Raspberry Lemonade
Serve with ice; garnish with a lime slice

QUINN TODDY, created by Kathryn Quinn Filo, Cissy Quinn Guidry, Sadie Quinn,  & Molly Quinn 

1/3 vodka
2/3 fresh grapefruit juice
Splash of soda
2 tablespoons rosemary simple syrup
Squeeze of lime

HOW ABOUT A MINT MARGARET? 
created by Marla Hires and MK Hopkins

2 teaspoons coarsely chopped fresh Peppermint leaves
3/4 cup Vanilla Ice Cream (Kleinpeter's Homemade Vanilla)
1/3 cup crushed ice
2  Tbs Maple Syrup
2  Tbs Creme de Mint
1.5 Tbs Dark Rum
1.5 Tbs Light Rum
Place all ingredients in blender and pulse until very fine.
